A massive thanks to all who participated in our annual Captains Charity day yesterday. The sun shone, the course played great, there were refreshments aplenty and I really hope fun was had by all. Amongst all that there was also some very good scoring.

To important matters first. The day was organised to raise money for Oxford Hospitals Charity and boy oh boy did you guys deliver!

The running total at present is a fantastic £3,200 so thank you very much for your generosity. The charity will be very grateful for this significant donation.

The overall team competition was won by team Spades (see names below) with a total of 494 beating Diamonds by a solitary point. Chipping contest points may well have made the difference?! Well done to the men in black.

There is a bit of a recount going on comparing cards and Club V1 for the other places and comps so a full list of results and prizes will follow. Apologies to one or two of you who may have been announced yesterday but may be disappointed on review and count back!
